MJ Boys Basketball Power Poll
The Truckers are 3-time defending NOL champions after beating Bellevue last week, plus picking up a non-conference win over Perkins. Norwalk faces Willard and Huron this week.
2. Columbia (19-1)
Columbia beat Clearview and Lutheran West to earn its first conference championship in 21 years. The Raiders finish up the season this week hosting Lutheran West and Brooklyn.
3. Elyria (15-5)
After beating Valley Forge, the Pioneers fell in overtime to North Royalton last week. Elyria travels to Parma tonight.
4. Perkins (15-4)
Perkins knocked off Oak Harbor but lost at Norwalk. The Pirates host both St. Mary and St. Paul this week.
5. Westlake (13-5)
After a win over North Olmsted last week, the Demons have a busy week with games against Brecksville, Lorain and Padua.
6. Huron (15-4)
Huron easily beat Edison for its 10th straight win. The Tigers travel to Clyde before hosting unbeaten Norwalk this week.
7. New London (15-2)
New London continues to roll after wins over South Central and Black River. The Wildcats travel to Monroeville before hosting Mansfield St. Peter’s and Mansfield Christian this week.
8. Western Reserve (15-4)
Western Reserve beat both Mapleton and Edison this week. A win over Plymouth tonight gives the Roughriders at least a share of the Firelands Conference.
9. Avon (14-6)
The Eagles stayed red hot after wins over Bay and North Olmsted. Avon travels to Vermilion tonight.
10. Avon Lake (11-8)
After a loss to Midpark, the Shoremen bounced back with a win over Midview. Avon Lake hosts Olmsted Falls then travels to Strongsville this week.
