AVON — Last week’s headline may have raised some eyebrows around the area when Avon knocked off Avon Lake, but the Eagles are out to prove that the victory over the Shoremen was no upset.
In Friday’s home opener, Avon jumped out quickly over Wellington behind a potent offense and a stingy defense and rolled to a 42-0 victory.
